His fishie:
My nun (haha so random):
And his masterpiece, the RABBIT!!
Omg it's so good, the anatomy is as realistic as it gets.
I was also really enthralled by a book of professionally produced pieces of origami (which I pored through while Justin laboured over his rabbit for 45 minutes). How can a sheet of uncut, unglued square paper be folded in so many astounding ways? Such as this one:
Made from a SINGLE sheet of SQUARE paper. Check it out, the guy even has a hat and a sword and a shield, and look at the detail on the dragon especially its wings gush gush gush. I wonder how these artists conceptualise their ideas and come up with a way of manipulating the paper in such an intricate fashion. Amazing.
Ok I really sound like the origami geek now hahaha.
So we headed off to Just's place, got lost, were found, and met all the ruggers for the first time in a long time (kiwi cup didn't count). Happy birthday to the 2 birthday boys (:
Exactly the same, in the sense that they were the same flavour, ordered from the same place, with ALMOST the same wording. (It wasn't intentional.)
I like this picture, which I took from squished behind the TV. Evidence of my poor photography skills: accidentally capturing said TV and stuffed toys in the photo. Also spot: Wenjie's present (medicine book), Just acting cute, Tubby mid-yawn, and Ryan drunk.
Happy ruggers (with TV & stuffed toys still present)!
