*424 - cake, gym, crab.

Sis cooked dinner (I helped!) and I baked my first ever full-sized cake (as opposed to little cupcakes) for daddy's birthday :D I underestimated the size of the cake and the entire family ended up eating cake for dessert for the next 4 meals or so. Anyway, I just baked a plain vanilla cake, used fresh cream and fresh fruit. No particular recipe except for the cake bit, not very difficult at all (: And it tasted pretty good only that I should have used more cream.

Happy birthday Daddy! :D

Judging for gym comp was tiring and exciting at times but mostly boring. I think I should take back what I said previously, the top 3 positions are actually contemplated quite thoroughly (especially for finals) so it wasn't as inaccurate as I thought it would be.

Photos from the week of judging:

Waffles on Tuesday, this time with Amy! Unimpressive origami this time because noone could think of anything interesting to fold.

(Amy: "ATTACK!!!!"
Evelyn: *sensing good photo opportunity, prepares camera for Amy's Aggressive Attack*
Amy: *daintily scoops up waffle crumb lying on edge of plate*)

After the competitions, having the usual 'celebratory gym dinner' only that we weren't competing and there wasn't really anything to celebrate. But it was a good excuse for baked rice and ice cream and talking crap (literally) :D

Maddy had a surprise ambush by her friends for her birthday right after this, which went really well because of excellent planning from them and excellent acting from the 3 of us. Yay (:

I've been so tired lately, I don't know why. 8 or even 9 hours of sleep simply isn't enough for me anymore. After lunch at his place yesterday, Justin turned around to fold up his uniform and when he turned back, I was gone. He searched around the house and discovered me curled up in his bed, fast asleep. Hahaha.

And then he woke me up some time later, asked me if I wanted to go and watch Harry Potter, I garbled something and stumbled to the toilet to remove my contact lenses, stumbled back into bed and fell asleep again. So we didn't watch Harry Potter.

Pig!
