Maybe it's time to confess, now that I'm outta school hoho, that throughout the past 2 years the slight reddish brownish tinge in my hair has't been altogether natural - I dye my hair periodically, just for kicks. Hurhur.
Anyway, I suddenly decided yesterday that it might be time for a fresh coat of dye and since Justin and Elisa were around, my bright idea sparked off a flurry of "you want to dye" "yeah I wanna dye" "shall we dye" "let's all dye together", which might have sounded insanely suicidal if you didn't understand the context any better.
So we sat in a row, shared the bottle of gunk and dyed each other's hair (Mummy did Elisa's).
(In the dying process, ha!)
It's a lot cheaper, a lot messier and a lot more fun dying your hair by yourself (as compared to going to get it done professionally). And if you choose a more subtle colour, nothing really can go very wrong. (Unlike my sister's friend who chose to go blonde, left it in too long, and became green-haired instead.)

The workers are fixing our roof now, and there are periodic loud clattering noises coming from directly above my head, bits of debris are raining down onto my windowsill, and it sounds as though someone is about to plummet right through my ceiling onto my lap. Any moment now.
