It hardly aches, but I'm pretending it does :D
(In the photo, I mean. Just so you know I'm not as loserish as to pretend it aches when it doesn't in real life. Actually, I can't decide which is more loserish. Oh well! :D)
Worn out from shopping with Mumsies. My giant broad bunioned feet make buying closed toed heels an embarrassment. "Errr can I have another size bigger I'm so sorry -nervous titter-"
Anyway, Robinsons has additional 20% off all items on top of the discounts. There probably are plenty of good deals but after trying a million shoes on I was too tired to continue shopping. Yawn.
Baking adventure later with Mumsies, because my first attempt failed sadly so we dug out all the cookbooks and educated ourselves on the art of making good choux pastry, and we're trying again now. Awesome :D
(edit, later)
And ... SUCCESS! :D Mumsies was neurotic over the choux pastry but that part turned out fine. The entire family was watching me and drooling as I spread the chocolate and whipped the cream and pieced together the eclairs, but they've gotta chill for a while so no eating yet.
Chocolate eclairs!! (: (:
Now I understand why they're so pricey. They seriously require a lot of effort and tlc. I think cookies and muffins are on the opposite end of the "effort" scale from eclairs, frosted and decorated cupcakes somewhere in the middle.
Yay, yummy eclairs waiting in the fridge for the family! (Don't think I can bring them out for friends because the cream will start to melt. Sigh. Well that just means more for ME! :D)
I actually wrote out a "To Bake List", and next on the list is to conquer rough puff pastry!
