And, what a difference a good camera makes! Look at that depth of field. I had no clue what I was doing, but half the pictures turned out drool-worthy anyway. (The other half were blurry heh heh.)

We were disgruntled at how it wasn't "the Japanese aesthetic" to crowd the plates like so, but there wasn't enough space on our dining table for a million beautiful minimalistically-designed plates, so we had to be content with this arrangement.
The damned tempura that cost me my three fingers. Specifically, IT WAS THE LADY'S FINGER, asdfl;kjadf. (I am being overdramatic here--they are not even scarred, though they certainly are blistered and painful; at least, I hope they won't be.)
Best oyster omelette ever, seriously, no kiddin'. Look how juicily plump the oysters are.
