Every time I think of autumn leaves, Diana Krall plays on loop in my head. But I miss you most of all, my darling, when autumn leaves start to fall.
Winter is approaching, though. It was -1 degrees last night and this morning. I saw frost on the cars outside for the first time this year. It's especially cold now (even though -1 was "warm" when we were in the dead of the Ithacan winter), because noone's quite ready to admit that winter is almost upon us, so we're all stubbornly dressed in fall outfits - flip flops, sweaters, leggings, fashionable cotton scarves. I brought out my peacoat yesterday, though.
The weekend is finally here. Actually, it's half gone. Whatever happened to wild Fridays and lazy Saturdays and restful Sundays? Every day is packed with activity. Maybe I'll sleep early tonight for the first time in a long time.

A bunch of hurried photographs taken while sprinting from the house to the bus stop, with no Photoshop to salvage them ;)
