I'm living in the present. I'm living for now, for today, for some tomorrow, and a bit (but not too much) beyond tomorrow.
Carpe diem, stop to smell the roses, and all that?
Well. Sometimes it's just that living in the now is the easiest way out (for now).

Grey skies and wet-almost-like-rain type snow invariably brought this song to mind:
I can see the sun up high though we're caught in a storm
I can see where you and I could be cosy and warm
Let the rain pitter patter but it really doesn't matter if the skies are grey
As long as I can be with you it's a lovely day
Twirling through the crunchy, slushy snow, leaping over puddles, getting my feet soggy and fluffies (in Ryen's terms) wet, freezing nose and fingers and toes, looking downright, miserably sodden and pathetic, but it doesn't matter, because I'm living in my happy dream doing my happy dance.
