It kind of didn't work because I was waiting for her to reply my SMS (something like "Are you dressed in rags? Shall we set foot now?") but she had already left her house, so when I finally got suspicious and called her all I did was to sprint around the bend of my estate and there she was. OOPS.
It was probably my last prata before leaving, and we ordered a horrible amount of it :D It was kind of funny because the couple beside us ordered 1 prata each, and there we were with 4 pratas and a thosai. I was so pleased with the paper thosai (I've only eaten the regular kind before) which came as a giant cone. And my milodino! I love milodinos (:
Here we are, bespectacled, and dressed in our rags:
And my milodino which somehow looks very very inviting in the photo DROOL.
AND! Since we're on the topic of Evelyns, skipping everything that happened in between, we went to Bishan Park to cycle this morning! :D I taught her how to cycle the way I remember my mummy teaching me how to cycle: hanging on to the bicycle seat for dear life, sprinting alongside as she pedalled, and sneakily letting go it seemed safe to let go! Evelyn was marvellous and learnt in just an hour and a half, and we spent the last half an hour fulfilling our aim of the day: hollering "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU" while whizzing through Bishan Park on our bikes :D
13 years of dancing together!! :D :D :D
Happy happy birthday! (: Come to think about it, this is probably the longest-lasting friendship that I have. Big Evelyn and Small Evelyn. We've come all the way from pink leotards and Grade 1 ballet to this (: Will miss you horribly!!
